Distributing Water
BACKGROUND
Water agencies provide their customers with the highest quality drinking water in the world. The water begins itsjourney in the watershed before moving on to the water treatment plant. After being treated, it passes through the distribution system, eventually it ends up in our homes through the tap. However, transporting the water is not that simple.
TASK – The “Organizers”
- Click on the Windows key on the bottom row of the left side of the keyboard.
- Click on the green Minecraft tile.
- Sign in using your entire 6-digit student ID. (Example: 123456@live.cvesd.org)
- Click on the Hydro Station World that matches your group’s assigned number.
- Read the welcome sign at the entrance of the world and follow the instructions to learn more about your task of distributing water.
REFLECT
In your notebook, reflect upon what you enjoy or do not enjoy about following a set of directions to solve a problem.
CLEAN UP
Log off of your computer and exit the Minecraft app.
